SMPS Design: EMI Filtering – Video Tutorial

This is EMI Filtering video. This video explained us about EMI Filtering, EMI Filtering Element, and EMI Filtering Leakage Currents. In this video, conducted mode RFI limit is illustrated on the diagram. On that diagram, the RFI has fix bandwidth. It’s claimed 9 KHz wide when scanning from 150KHz to 30MH and turning 20H when scanning below 150KHz.

EMI filtering elements consist of 4 element, Xcap Differential mode, Common mode coke, Differential mode choke and Ycap common mode. Safety agencies limit leakage currents to 0.5-5 mA for general equipment and 100 uA for medical equipment.
