Soldering High-Brightness LEDs – Video Tutorial

This is a soldering high-brightness LEDs video. This video demonstrate a simple way how to solder the high power LED. First, use some of solder paste and place the solder place to the heatsink pad, then plant the LED to the pad. In this video, to dry the solder paste, the steinel programmable hydrant is used. The temperature of the hydrant is set to 620 degrees then turn it on. Dry the soldering paste that is placed to the heatsink pad by putting the heatsink pad above the hydrant. Be careful, its extremely hot. You can see the soldering paste is hardened. After the soldering paste dry out, you can see the different of the heatsink pad before and after dried out. The colour is diferent and the LED ready to testing.
