This video tutorial is about the hall effect WSS sensor. This video describes about how the hall effect sensor work. The wheel speed sensor uses the WSS family. Hall effect sensor are three wire sensors with the reference voltage, ground and the signal terminal. The reference voltage can be 5V,7V,8V or 12V. The reference voltage is supplied by the ABS module. This sensor has a internal transistor. The rotation of the wheel will generate voltage that will active the base of the WSS transistor.
